Disney Give a Day at Hidden Hills Ranch

Even during our stormy, wet days several families came out in February to volunteer together for the Disney Give-A-Day community service opportunity!

Starbucks donated coffee and pastries, Disney music was playing and parents as well as their kids had a good time working and cleaning up the ranch.

Thank you so much for pulling weeds and cleaning up the gardens.  It really made a difference!  Have a great time in Disneyland!

Classes are in full swing!

Lori Bigham taught cooking classes that were a hit this spring and is now teaching a woodworking class.  Here's Lexy with the Birdhouse Project from this week's class! Yolanda, our multi-talented librarian also continues her successful Spanish classes!  Watch for more classes coming in April!

Hail Storm at Hidden Hills Ranch

There was a huge hail storm the night of March 8.  The next morning, this is what we saw - our very own 'snow'!

Winter Wonderland at Hidden Hills Ranch

It "snowed" on Saturday at Hidden Hills Ranch! Many families came out for Winter Wonderland this year and enjoyed playing in the snow and racing down the toboggan run.

Many thanks to all who helped out to make this day such a success! We especially want to thank Grower’s Ice for their generous donation of “snow” which they sprayed onto an 8 foot high toboggan run and a wonderful play area for all the children to enjoy.

Families were also able to get up close and personal with many of the animals on the farm and even take a pony cart ride with our miniature horse Foxy. There were delicious snacks, cocoa , cider and s'mores for roasting. Everyone had fun playing in the snow all while enjoying the wonderful warm weather!
